Licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbs are a major part of a complete system of medicine developed in China over the last 3,500 years. It is based on balancing the energy of the body-mind-spirit. In this form of medicine the root cause of pain and disease is seen as imbalance. Imbalances are corrected by the use of disposable, hair-like needles inserted in specific points and/or sound vibration, herbs and diet.
Cheri Graham Cetto
Cheri is a certified basic Sivananda Yoga teacher. She studied at the Sivananda Ashram and yoga retreat center in the Bahamas. In 2009, she completed an intense Yogi’s without Borders class and participated in a Yoga for Peace Symposium acquiring tools to relieve stress and tension through yoga practice in humanitarian efforts for the promotion of peace and well being.
The basic Sivananda Yoga class is designed to help the body maintain a natural healthy state. The practice is intended to tone and strengthen all of the muscle groups of the entire body and relax the mind. Yoga uses deep breathing to bring relaxation to tight contracted muscles and mind. The practice of yoga postures (asanas) stretches tension out of muscles and increases flexibility of the entire body. Stress reduction and relaxation is the key to radiant health.
