Casa Estrellita

In 2004, Casa Estrellita became the newest addition to Casa Estrella de la Valenciana. It was originally the owners private residence. This two-story, (2,000 square foot) two bedroom casa (house) is perched in the upper corner of the property overlooking our beautiful city of Guanajuato.

Built with family and good friends in mind, the first floor has a handpainted tile kitchen, dining room and living room, which are great places to relax at the end of your day - sharing your stories and treasures after shopping, exploring, discovering and enjoying all that the Central Mexican Highlands offer.

A wooden staircase ascends under a uniquely fitted boveda ceilng to the second floor bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom.
 

                 M. Delicado Suite 

M. Delicado - This spacious master suite enjoys beautiful views of the city and its own cantera-framed gas fireplace. Step out onto your private balcony to enjoy the sparkling lights of the city at night. You'll step down into the dressing area and adjacent bathroom. Perhaps a soak in the jetted bathtub will bring you back to life after your busy day of exploring. Enjoy a restful night in your comfortable queen-size bed.  

                              Aña Margarita Suite

Aña Margarita - This smaller, but cozy, room, has two twin size beds (or one king size), with beautifully hand-carved painted headboards. Step out onto your private balcony for an incredible view of the city and the mountains.

Pass through the bedroom to your private bath with handpainted sink and beautifully tiled green and yellow shower. Take a peek out of your bathroom window at the purple caracol (circular) stairway that ascends to the roof and another panoramic view of Guanajuato.

Each bedroom has all of the amenities, including bathrobes, hairdryers, cd clock radios, and satellite TVs with dvd players.

                                            Sala

The sala (living room) has a complete stereo system, with a selection of contemporary, as well as traditional, Latin American music. The full-size sofa bed can sleep one or two persons. A low-profile LCD TV sits discretely between both the living room and dining room for those in need of a glance at the news or the game.

A small bathroom, with a shower, is just off the kitchen and dining room.

                                             Comedor

The warm and colorful comedor (dining room) has a round wooden table with seating for six.  It seems to beckon you to sit for a while and savor the wonderful flavors of Mexico.

                                                Cocina

The traditionally-designed  Mexican cocina (kitchen) is fully-equipped, including a dishwasher and microwave.  

You'll enjoy sitting at the breakfast bar and drinking in the views of the city with a hot cup of delicious Mexican coffee or hot chocolate.
