I satyed at Casa Estrella de la Valenciana with my mother in October 2012. I have been fortunate to have travelled a lot in my years, but this place is better in every way than anywhere I have ever stayed. The interiors are absolutely stunning, decorated in typical Mexican style. The views over Guanajuato are breathtaking- what a way to wake up! In the morning, the table outside is set and breakfast is served. There is coffee and juice and a continental style breakfast, plus a hot dish of typical Mexican food is served. I turned into one of those people who take pictures of their meals because they were so lovely!!! The staff are perfect- friendly and accomodating. There are snacks you can help yourself to, and an honours bar. There is a pool and hot tub, the rooms are lovely, the sheets are soft, the pillows and bed are high quality, there is a jacuzzi and shower- everything was amazing!!! Mom and I kept going on to each other about how much we loved it there, the whole time we were staying. We didn't want to leave!!! It felt as if it was our home, our 'Hacienda' and we has staff to wait on us!! I loved absolutely everything about Casa de la Estrella. I can't wait to return.
